Monel K500 is the age hardenable copper and nickel-based alloy that is combining resistance to the general corrosion with very good strength corrosion fatigue as well as erosion resistance. This copper and nickel-based alloy precipitation-hardenable are possible because of the addition of elements like titanium and aluminum. This material is retaining very good corrosion-resistant properties at 400. Also, it is having very good strength and toughness. It is that excellent tensile strength and yielding strength. It is further strengthened by the technique named cold working before the precipitation hardening.
